The First Easter Bunny

" 'My little friend,' He said, 'because you were the first living creature to welcome Me back to life, I want you to bring joy to all the little children who will ever live.' "

One of my favorite Easter stories. My mom would read this to me when I was really little, and it still holds a special place in my heart today. It gave the Easter Bunny a bit more meaning than just eggs and candy. He was spreading the news of the risen Lord.

I felt like I wasn't worthy to draw His face. No one can truly capture that...
