I'm engaged!!   

Sunday was my boyfriend and I's anniversary, and he took me out to dinner, and then we went to the spot where we first kissed to reminisce. 

And then he pulled out a ring and got down on one knee  

I'm so happy, and I'm really honored that I'll be able to spend the rest of my life with him.

I'm just letting you guys know, since this is really important to me, and also because my engagement/marriage will have an impact on my art. There are a lot of things to arrange and figure out, not to mention we still have school (we're not going to tie the knot until after graduation though). My fiancé is a big supporter of me and my art though so I'm sure he'll remind me to keep drawing whenever I get the chance.  

So that's the big news! wah

I am currently visiting my boyfriend and am staying with him and his family for the rest of summer before we move back to Chicago for the school year. All we've been doing is binge watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, so yeah, I don't really have anything to post at the moment

But I absolutely adore Avatar, and will probably start drawing fanart for it ^w^ I can't believe I missed out on it as a kid! (My mom wouldn't let my brother and I watch Nickelodeon growing up, since she thought Spongebob would rot our brains) The animation is gorgeous and the storyline is fantastic. It's probably the best cartoon I've ever seen. I'm so glad the bae introduced me to it he was actually horrified that I'd never seen it. I'm ashamed 

Oh! I also have been watching Star vs. The Forces of Evil and I love it, too! It's so hilarious and I love the art style. ^w^ So yeah, expect some of that too. :bademoticon: 

And there's Miraculous Ladybug, for which we're getting our Christmas special soon! Whoo hoo!! c: I plan to continue to draw more of it and work more on the Hogwarts AU. I don't have an extensive storyline planned, but I would like to throw at least a few oneshots into my Literature folder, which is really collecting dust right now.  

At this point I'm not sure if I'll attend anymore conventions in the near future, but I have been thinking of becoming a vendor at Artist Alleys. I'd appreciate some feedback to help me with this important decision ^w^

I'll probably start working on my Ladybug cosplay once school starts. It'll probably just stick to my Instagram until I debut it at a con, but yeah, hopefully it'll be done by spring.
